We exposed a two-stage streaker sampler in the town of Genova, recording at the same time the main meteorological data (air pressure, temperature, and wind direction, etc.). We collected X-ray spectra from both the coarse and fine stage particulate with the PIXE facility of the University of Firenze. The elemental data were statistically analysed to identify long and short range phenomena as well as correlations with meteorological variables and pollutants other than particles. The first results are presented.
